Habitot and Public Market, Emeryville are thrilled to partner to present our Mobile Museum for young children and grownups at the Public Market in Emeryville.
Grownups can enjoy morning coffee at Peet’s Coffee and the whole family can stay for lunch at one of the 20+ food kiosks in the Public Market food hall.
The events are free to attend but we appreciate Eventbrite registration to plan for supplies.
We will be located in the Public Market breezeway. Walk ups allowed with space available.
Habitot's traveling "mini museum" of mobile exhibits plus art, STEM, and maker activities are going on the road! Our exhibits and activities are best for kids 0-5, and siblings and adults are encouraged to play, too!
Habitot Children’s Museum is a non-profit organization serving a wide range of families!
Each ticket admits a SINGLE FAMILY GROUP with any combination of children and adults in the same household including caregiver. Please sign up for just ONE TICKET for a 1 hour and fifteen minute timeslot.
We recommend that masks be worn by all individuals over the age of two, although they are not required at this time. For more information on our current COVID-19 protocols, please visit COVID-19 Policy for Pop-ups.
What to Expect!

Rocket Building & Tinkering
Design, build, and decorate a rocket from recycled materials. Test how it high it launches in the new rocket launcher. Decide if it needs anything added to it or taken away. A fun design activity!
WaterWorks
Playing with water is a learning opportunity! Explore boats, funnels, buckets, and streams to learn about the properties of water, and just have fun!
Boat Making & Tinkering

Ball Run
Design your very own ball run with endless combinations of tubes, gutters, and more on our giant magnetic wall!
