H4X Basic Certification Course
Come join the innovation insurgency this July in the Washington D.C. metro area! Learn the tools and methodology that enable individuals and teams to rapidly solve challenging national security problems.
The H4X Basic Certification Course is a 2-day workshop that teaches the fundamentals of the H4X methodology while tackling real world problems. Learning modules include: Problem Curation, Components of the Mission Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas, Hypothesis Creation, and Minimum Viable Product Development.
During lunch, we will host panels of innovators from several organizations that have successfully adopted and applied H4X methodology to streamline problem-solving within their bureaucracies.

1. Where is the course being taught?
The course will be held at 1776 in Crystal City (2231 Crystal City Drive, Suite 1000, Arlington, VA).
2. Are meals provided?
No meals will be provided. If you’d like to participate in the lunch panels, bring your own lunch from home or pick up lunch at one of the convenient local restaurants within walking distance.
3. Is there Metro access
The closest metro stop is Crystal City (Yellow & Blue lines). 1776 is about a 7-minute walk from the station (above or below ground).
4. Is there parking?
The building has an underground parking deck on 23rd Street S and Crystal Drive (right at the intersection). When you enter the parking lot, turn left following signs to the restaurant “Ruth’s Chris". Make sure to park in the green zone to access the building directly (if you’re not sure, the pillars have the building address on them as well).
Parking before 4 PM is $6 for one hour, $11 for 2 hours, and $21 for all-day. Parking is free if you enter the deck after 4:00 PM.
