Where did these interpretations come from? How do these many histories align and/or diverge? Participants: Philosopher &amp; Senior Research Scholar <a href="https://www.philosophy.ox.ac.uk/people/elise-bohan" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Elise Bohan</a>. Author and Founder Transhumanist Studies <a href="https://www.natashavita-more.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Natasha Vita-More</a>. Professor and Researcher on philosophy of technology <a href="https://web.comillas.edu/profesor/slumbreras" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sara Lumbreras</a>. Host/Moderator: Futures Theorist and Host of the FUTURES Podcast <a href="https://futurespodcast.net/about" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Luke Robert Mason</a>.How does it work? To begin, please be online in advance so that you are present when the Roundtable starts! Participants open with a 1-minute position statement (quick-fire). Next, the discussion and debate between participants continue and end with each making a closing statement for the 30-minute round. Attendees have an opportunity to post their comments in the chat.

In relation to Transhumanism, its history and the future of humanity:About Elise Bohan: A Senior Research Scholar at the University of Oxford’s Future of Humanity Institute (FHI), Elise holds a PhD in evolutionary macro-history (Big History) and wrote a book-length history of transhumanism as a doctoral student. At FHI, she is part of a cohort of scholars who are dedicated to understanding, and tackling, humanity’s most pressing problems.About Natasha Vita-More: Executive Director at Humanity+, Distinguished Senior Fellow at FIU, retired Faculty &amp; Chair of Graduate Studies at UAT, she is founder of Transhumanist Studies, offering primary curricula on transhumanism. Her PhD focused on the science and technology of life expansion. She is dedicated to developing stories on super longevity and to question humanity's future.About Sarah Lumbreras: Professor, ICAI Engineering School and belongs to the Institute of Technological Research (IIT), she specializes in models for decision making on complex problems. Author of over thirty publications, she has carried out research stays at the Santa Fe Institute, London Business School, and a Global Shaper of the World Economic Forum and a Marshall Memorial Fellow.About Luke Robert Mason: Host of the <a href="http://futurespodcast.net" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">FUTURES Podcast</a> and British-born futurist who is passionate about engaging the public with emerging scientific theories and technological developments. He hosts documentaries for Futurism, and has contributed to BBC Radio, BBC One, The Guardian, Discovery Channel, VICE Motherboard and Wired Magazine.

<h1>H+ Workshop.</h1>The weekly workshops after H+ Academy events takes placed at the Transhumanist Studies Group meeting. This is where we discuss topics within the transhumanist communities and any and all news about transhumanism from alternative sources.
