Refocus and Boost Culture

Participants: Architect Rachel Armstrong, Architect John Lobell, and Designer Gary Abramson.

How does it work? First, please be online in advance so that you are present when the Roundtable starts! Participants open with a 5-8 minute position statement. Discussion and debate between participants continues and ends with each making a closing statement for the 60-minute round. Attendees have an opportunity to post their comments in the chat.

Roundtable Topic Description:

The topic is about building culture that self-repairs by refocusing and renewing. The issue: We live in a multi-dimensional world that is connected to human emotions. Those emotions can be distressed by the current doom and gloom angst. To lessen the gravity of this, the aim is to devise/contextualize a future that incites intrigue, creativity, and possibilities.

How do we, through the application of design, encourage people to be a part of this future

What kind of culture do we want to build?

Why is that important for the future?

How to find authenticity rather than chasing shiny things.

Workshops begin at the end of the roundtable and are hosted by members. The workshops are simultaneous and you can join all of them. Topics to be announced soon!
