The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, bringing together people of all faiths to pray for our nation.
We will be praying for leaders in Education, Religion, and Government.
Speakers include:
District 1 Commissioner Kirkland Carden
District Attorney Patsy Austin-Gatson
Lawrenceville Mayor David Still
Gwinnett County Public Schools Board Member Karen Mulzac Watkins
This year's theme is: Lift up the Word - Light up the world
For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.
2 Samuel 22:29-31
