Leaders from the shorelines of the Gulf South to the headwater of Appalachia spent the last two years building relationships and collectively creating a Climate Action Strategy through a People’s Movement Assembly Process. During this gathering we will discuss ongoing structure/governance for the Gulf to Appalachia Formation and plans to implement the goals of the Climate Action Strategy.
We will be gathering at Rickhouse in Durham, NC. Taproot Earth will cover the cost of accommodations, food, and provide a travel stipend for participants. We have space for about 50 participants and encourage folks to only have 1-2 participants per organization apply. We may not have space for everyone but will be hosting virtual gatherings before and after the in person gathering. All final decisions will happen in the post virtual gatherings so that any key decisions can be inclusive to all participants of the G2A PMA process.
