This in-person gathering will be held at 3735 Alton Parkway, Irvine, CA, USA. Guest: Sheikh Aminuddin Muhammad - President of the Ulama of MozambiqueSheikh Aminuddin Muhammad Ibrahim, now aged 68, was born in Ressano Garcia, Maputo province. He specialized in Quranic Studies at the Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and graduated in Theology at the Islamic University of Karachi, in Pakistan.Sheikh Aminuddin is a member of the Mozambican Council of State, President of the Council of Religions of Mozambique, counselor of the president of Mozambique, president of the ulama of Mozambique, and founder of the Hamza Institute, the largest Quranic teaching institution in Mozambique, with more than 150 Hafizes (memorizers of the Quran) and more than 200 graduated theologians. He spent over 40 years translating the Qur'an into Portuguese.
