PAWS of Montclair, Inc is a 501(c)3 charitable organization helping homeless animals for 40 years.

Join us for a fun evening of comedy, complimentary refreshments, and a chance to win prizes.
Performers include Sharon Simon, Host of Gay Pride Parade, Doug Adler, Comedy Time TV, and headliner Chris Monty, Kevin Can Wait, The Blacklist. 
Friday, May 11, 2018 First Congregational Church (Guild Room) 40 South Fullerton Avenue, Montclair The Guild Room is located in the back of the church. 
Tickets $25 in advance, $30 cash at the door.   
Doors open 7:00pm for Basket Raffle and 50-50 Raffle ticket purchases, buffet table and general admission Cabaret style seating. Show at 8:00pm, followed by raffles starting 9:45pm. 
Feel free to BYO Beer/wine.
The church is at the corner of S. Fullerton and Plymouth, and the entrance to the parking lot is on Plymouth. Limited parking is available in church parking lot. There also is on-street parking as well as the  Crescent Parking Deck a block away (address is 13 The Crescent). The parking deck rate is $1 per hour. 
ENTRANCE: Please use church parking lot entrance at top of stairs. Show is right inside that entrance in The Guild Room.  There is a handicap entrance is at side of building and there will be signs to direct you.
                                                                    Meet the Comics
Sharon Simon is an NYC based comic who performs at major clubs in New York City and all over the country.  She started her career as a child performing on Saturday Night Live at the age of nine and will be a featured host at the upcoming NYC Gay Pride Parade. Sharon is as well an ordained minister and loves making people happily ever after. 
NYC native Doug Adler, known for his marketing genius, hit the nail on the head when it dawned on him: “What NYC needs is another middle-aged Jewish comic!” Adler’s unique, “kinda hip jewboy“ style transforms everyday life, an autobiographical cast of characters, and topics like the mother-in-law into hilarious one-of-a kind humor. Doug performs regularly in the tri-state area. New York City clubs include New York Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, and the Greenwich Village Comedy Club. He has been featured in the New York Underground Comedy Festival and most recently in “Carrying a Big Schtick,” a documentary about the history of Jewish comedy. Doug urges you to come see him perform or else you’ll have to answer to his mother-in-law.
With over 20 years of stand-up comedy and television under his belt, Chris Monty continues to delight audiences worldwide. His latest high profile projects include Vinyl (HBO), Red Oaks (Amazon), Paul Bart: Mall Cop 2 (Sony Pictures), Kevin Can Wait ( CBS), and Orange is the New Black (Netflix). In his stand-up, Chris Monty channels a refreshing and unique style of the 1960’s cool funnyman mixed with a modern chic. His unique take on current topics and storytelling are reminiscent of the comics that would keep The Rat Pack in stitches for weeks. He spans generations in that older crowds love his cool, retro style and younger crowds see a cadence that they haven’t seen on stage. It is truly something unique to experience.
