GS students are invited to attend an off-campus excursion for the Broadway show, MJ The Musical. Michael Jackson’s unique and unparalleled artistry has finally arrived on Broadway in a brand-new musical. Centered around the making of his 1992 Dangerous World Tour, MJ goes beyond the singular moves and signature sound of the star, offering a rare look at the creative mind and collaborative spirit that catapulted Jackson into legendary status. Discounted tickets are provided by GS Student Life. This event is only open to currently enrolled GS students. You must register with your UNI email, or you will be refunded and your ticket will be released. We have a limited number of tickets, students are allowed to purchase 1 ticket. If you purchase more than 1, ALL of your tickets will be refunded. Tickets will go on sale at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11 via Eventbrite. Each ticket is $30.00. Students will be notified on when to pick up their ticket from the GS Student Life Office located in Lewisohn Hall.

Students are responsible for their own transportation, please arrive by 6:30 p.m. ( 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance).

GS Student Life Subsidized Tickets

The GS Student Life Office provides the opportunity for GS students to request subsidized tickets to events throughout the school year in order to support those with financial need.

Applicants seeking a subsidized ticket may either be a current full-time or part-time GS student. All requests will be reviewed by GS Student Life staff members. Subsidized ticket requests for this event are due by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12. Students will be notified by Wednesday, April 13, if they were approved for a subsidized ticket. If approved, students will have until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14 to purchase their subsidized ticket. If the ticket is not purchased by the deadline, it will be released. Subsidized tickets are $15.00 each.

Please note, you should only submit ONE subsidized ticket request (multiple requests will not be accepted, nor will requests be accepted if you have already purchased a full-priced ticket).

*Broadway requires guests to be fully vaccinated in order to enter the theatre.*

All ticket holders will need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine in order to attend the performance and must provide proof of one of the following:

  • 2 doses of a FDA or WHO authorized 2-dose COVID-19 vaccine dated at least 14 days before the performance date, or
  • 1 dose of a FDA or Who authorized single dose COVID-19 vaccine dated at least 14 days before the performance date.

All ticket holders must also present a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport.

All visitors, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask at all times.
