About this event

Following a nonstop tour of international installments and the brand’s recent announcement of the return for its summer kick-off event in The Hamptons, Palm Tree Music Festival is bringing the party to Lake Tahoe for the first time ever! This July, Palm Tree Crew is bringing the party to Lake Tahoe for a festival experience at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys! Curated by Kygo and his Manager Myles Shear, the most sought-after destination of the season will be fully reimagined to fuse together an unmatched feeling of summer in paradise with majestic lakeside vibes and unparalleled performances from global music icons.

Founded in 2016 by Kygo and Shear, Palm Tree Crew first came to life when the pair began gifting palm tree necklaces to their inner circle as a symbol of community. Today, Palm Tree Crew is a diversified holding company that owns and operates a consumer brand, a global live events business and a multi-product investment platform, all within one unified ecosystem that embodies the care-free vibe of an endless summer.

Gryffin

Since first breaking into the global electronic scene, multi-instrumentalist Gryffin has earned his name as an unforgettable live act, tapping into the sophisticated musicality he honed as a classically trained pianist and longtime guitarist. With a remarkable ability to craft infectious melodies and captivating beats, Gryffin has delighted fans with a steady stream of smash singles, including platinum-certified hits like “Tie Me Down” ft. Elley Duhé. Gryffin’s first full-length debut album, Gravity, swiftly ascended to the #1 position on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart in 2019, solidifying his standing as a chart-topping powerhouse in the industry.

In 2022, Gryffin made a highly anticipated comeback with his sophomore album, “Alive”. Through his second body of work, Gryffin showcased his versatility as a producer crafting an eclectic, dance-ready assortment of various subgenres, while preserving the emotional depth that resonates with his fans. In his words, it’s a “great combination of artists I’ve wanted to work with for a long time and artists I’ve worked with for years and feel a strong connection with”. Notable contributors to the album include GRAMMY-nominated alt-rock/pop band OneRepublic, Danish electro-pop icon MØ, R&B singer/songwriter Tinashe, and indie-pop phenom Olivia O’Brien.

For 2024, Gryffin is planning to once again redefine the electronic dance music scene with his third album, which he is launching with his biggest collaboration to date “Last of Us” alongside Rita Ora. Labeled his “most inspiring project to-date,” the multi-instrumentalist’s third full body of work, “PULSE”, will dive into a wide variety of dance music sub-genres infused with his signature melodies and anthemic toplines. Fans are in for a world-building ride this year as Gryffin showcases what he has been working on for over a year. He has secured coveted performances at renowned festivals such as Ultra Music Festival and more to be announced. Gryffin also announced the renewal of his Las Vegas residency at Wynn Nightlife.

Disco Lines

Known for his wildly popular original songs, remixes, and rioutus content – which have amassed hundreds of millions of streams and billions of views, Thadeus Labuszewski aka Disco Lines, is perpetually touring, bringing his contagious laugh, larger than life presence, and high energy DJ sets to the college, club, and festival circuits, as well as his recently announced Good Good Tour.

Most experts agree that the success of Disco Lines’ music career is matched only by his standing as an industry-leading amateur Dolphin enthusiast. When he is long gone, Disco Lines hopes to be remembered for his upbeat dance music, and as a fierce protector of our cetacean friends.

He hopes this bio made you buy a ticket to his show.

DRAMA

DRAMA is the multicultural collaboration between producer Na’el Shehade’s chic Chicago house-infused production style, and vocalist Via Rosa whose soulful delivery is inspired by the improvisational nature of jazz and playful patterns of hip-hop and bossa nova. The duo play to the complementary dynamics of their unlikely pairing by blurring the lines between R&B and dance-pop, heartbreak and bliss.

Rosa grew up in a musical household; her parents played in a reggae band and toured as a family, homeschooling Rosa into her early teens and limiting her listening primarily to Sade, oldies, Brazilian and Afrobeat music. She kept poetry journals and by high school started writing songs and making beats. After moving to Chicago in 2010, Rosa connected with THEMPeople, a collective at the center of the city’s sprawling hip-hop scene.

Meanwhile, Shehade inherited a strong work ethic from his immigrant parents. Born in Chicago, he fell in love with DJ culture as a kid and took up music production and engineering; his interest eventually led to professional opportunities, including early studio work with Chance the Rapper, Kanye West, and music projects for MTV and Bravo. Other musical collaborations have included Flight Facilities, Poolside, Jamila Woods, Tensnake and with Gorgon City for their global dance hit, “You’ve Done Enough”. Since a chance meeting nearly 10 years ago led to the creation of DRAMA, the duo has bootstrapped a subtle rise on their own terms, self-releasing several EPs and mapping multiple tours and playing some of the biggest festivals including their most recent Coachella debut, Lollapalooza, Life Is Beautiful, Outside Lands and more with Midwestern grit.

In early jam sessions the chemistry was clear; Rosa’s soulful delivery interlocked with Shehade’s chic Chicago house-infused production style. A lovesick sound emerged over two EPs, Gallows in 2016 and Lies After Love in 2018, and continued on to their debut album Dance Without Me in January 2020. DRAMA released another EP, Don’t Wait Up in 2022 which includes 3 songs that continuously stream in their top 10 tracks, including a fan favorite, “3 AM”. The duo continued to build momentum in 2023 releasing an EP titled Till We Die which comprises of a collaboration with Flight Facilities.

DRAMA continues to pave their own path in 2024 as the duo prepares to tour Australia for the first time ever and release more new music throughout the year.

Vandelux

Vandelux (Evan White) is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and vocalist from Vancouver, BC, now residing in San Francisco, CA. Evan brings a global perspective to his music, drawing his artist name from a peculiar composition of past city dwellings (Vancouver, Deland, Luxembourg) that helped shape his sound into what it is today. Balancing retro nostalgia with contemporary electronic production, Vandelux has a knack for crafting songs that work their way into the collective conscience. In the wake of his 2021 Billboard-charting EP ‘Dream State’ Evan’s debut album ‘When The Light Breaks’, released in September of 2023, bolstered his position as a rising talent in the live electronic scene.
