Join Dyckman Farmhouse Museum Director of Education, and Founder of Garden Kitchen Lab, Fabiola Cáceres at her kitchen-garden workshop. Fabiola will talk about the benefits of starting a food garden at home; show how to go from backyard to table with a delicious Fusilli With Basil Mint Pesto &amp; Toasted Bread Crumbs and talk us through the Growing Uptown initiative.Materials Needed:<ul><li> Kosher salt</li><li> 14 ounces (400 grams) dried fusilli pasta</li><li> 1 garlic clove</li><li> 8 3/4 ounces (250 grams) extra-virgin olive oil, plus more</li><li> 3 cups lightly packed basil leaves</li><li> 1 bunch mint</li><li> 1 thyme branch</li><li> 2 1/2 ounces (75 grams) finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano</li><li> 3 1/2 ounces (100 grams) freshly ground bread crumbs</li></ul>This program is intended for Families.
