Once the guests have gathered, an Up Top Acres farmer will kick things off with an introduction about the Farm at Halley Rise, and a quick tour!

Growing in Smal Spaces

We'll dive into techniques for maximizing growing food in small spaces, and guide guests through planting seedlings to bring home.

Are you interested in gardening, but only have a small space to grow in? Then this workshop is perfect for you! An Up Top Acres farmer will provide tips for growing food in small spaces, including what plants thrive best in container gardens, and tips and tricks to keep plants happy, healthy, and productive in small spaces!

Each guest will leave with their own seedlings, pot, gloves and trowels to get their home garden started!

This event is offered for free. If you choose the donation ticket option, all funds will be donated to our community partner, Cornerstones.
