How can I sponsor a pot at this event?

Accepted Answer

Each pot planted at this event can be sponsored through our secure giving page above in the overview. Our goal is to plant 300 pots and secure sponsorship for each one at $50 per pot, helping us reach a goal of raising $15,000 to support the ongoing work of The Cause.

Where is the best place to park?

The closest parking to the B1 Shelter at Kleiner Memorial Park is located in front of the Meridian Senior Center.

Question 4

What should I wear?

This is an outdoor event, so we recommend comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty, along with weather-appropriate layers. Plastic gloves for potting will be provided, but if you have your own garden gloves, please feel free to bring them.

Will there be activities for kids?

Accepted Answer

Yes! This is a family-friendly event, and we’re excited to welcome children of all ages.
In addition to plant potting, kids can enjoy a bounce house, sensory activities, and lawn games throughout the event.

Can I bring my own pot or container?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We will have pots and containers for all the plants at the event, but if you have a special one from home that you’ve been meaning to fill, please feel free to bring it.

How can I help?

The best way to support this event is to register, invite friends and family, and help us reach our goal of planting 300 pots. We’re also looking for a small volunteer team to help with setup and teardown. For volunteer opportunities or questions, contact Breanna Weltner at bre@thecause.org.
