This is an IN-PERSON seminar, presented by our Master Gardener volunteers. The same program will be presented as a virtual session online via Zoom on a different date. Click here to view the information and register for the online session via Zoom.

May is the perfect time to talk about the challenges and rewards of growing food plants despite dealing with the heat, humidity, and other hassles of our Piedmont conditions. We’ll discuss some strategies for success in the summer vegetable garden - by following best practices, and using an integrated pest management approach.

The talk is free - but capacity is limited. Please pre register to reserve a seat.

A program handout providing links to abundant resources and in-depth information will be dispersed at the program. The handout will also be accessible after the session on our website.

If you encounter problems registering or if you have questions, please contact Emerson Wells at emerson_wells@ncsu.edu or 336-641-2400.
