Learn the basics for playing a song on guitar: chords, strumming, singing. Left hand technique for playing chords cleanly and changing between chords smoothly. Right hand technique for strumming a particular strumming pattern in tempo and with correct rhythm, as well as syncing right hand strumming with left hand chord changes. Learn how to sing and strum by matching syllables with strumming directions.

***A minimum of 5 class participants must be reached for the class to be held. If less there are less than 5 participants registered at 24 hours prior to the class, the class will be cancelled and all registered participants will be given a full refund.

I am an absolute beginner with no experience. Is this class for me?

Yes! We will review the very basics and fundamentals, including how to hold the guitar, hand placement, etc. You will also learn how to form chords and strumming.

I have learned some basics but still struggle with playing correctly. Will this class help?

Yes! I will observe the class and give pointers to address challenges I see student's encountering. And of course you can always ask questions!

Is this a stand alone class, or is it part of a series?

The class is a stand alone class, so you can sign up with no further commitment. However, additional classes occur on a recurring basis, so you can sign up for additional classes to further develop your skills.
