In this 2.5 hour workshop, you'll learn to combine off-the-wall characters with real-world emotions, to create absurd scenework that is deeply relatable to any audience. For fans of content like: Dungeons & Dragons, What We Do In The Shadows, and Steven Universe.

This "Orbit" level workshop led by instructor Whitney Hawkins, is ideal for those with some past improv experience including introductory classes/workshops, game and scene format experience (6+ months experience).

About the Instructor:

Whitney Hawkins has been an improv performer and director since 2015, and a proud self-proclaimed weirdo since 1987. She is one of the founders of The Nova Comedy Collective, and the director of Adventure Improv. She currently coaches Union Comedy’s Big Allowance and performs across New England with her duo, Delilah Chaplin. She previously performed on ImprovBoston’s National Touring Company, AllAccess, Family Show, and Harold Night. Whitney is passionate about comedy as a means of connection and creating art that is authentic, daring, and lives in the moment.
