About this event

  • 1 hour

Join us for a celebration in what connects us all: Grief. Amidst the verdant embrace of nature's solace, we gather to commemorate a profound journey of existence—a delicate tapestry woven with threads of joy, sorrow, and the ineffable ties that bind us all. As the petals unfurl in silent homage, our hearts resonate with the timeless rhythm of remembrance.

In the tranquil expanse of the Half Moon Farm gardens, we come together to honor the departed, to acknowledge the fragments of their essence that linger in our memories and echo in the whispers of the wind. Each step among the blossoms is a testament to the vibrant hues of life that once graced our shared path.

Here, beneath the gentle canopy of our large Elm tree, we pay homage to the Earth, our steadfast custodian and cradle of existence. With each breath drawn in harmony with the rustle of leaves, we acknowledge our interconnectedness with the natural world—a bond woven through the fabric of time and nurtured by the tender embrace of Mother Earth.

Watching a seed go from a small miracle to a bright bloom is quite special, and so are the intentions and hands behind it. Join us in sowing seeds to honor our loved ones as well as ourselves (whatever parts of us may be dying in order for something new to bloom)! We will provide all the materials you'll just need drinkable water, boots, and sun protectant. If you have ashes of a loved one, which includes every type of creature, bring some to scatter.
