Antall IT selskaper etablert i Bergen har eksplodert de to siste årene, og det er knapp tilgang på ressurser og kompetanse. I kveld får vi høre forskjellige måter man angriper materien på, hvilke tilbydere som finnes der ute, hvordan de jobber.

Experience report: setting up and working in distributed teams/cross boarders
There are many good reasons for why to distribute your team. While some outsourcing projects fail very fast, others may take longer time before they reach an end. Distributing the work cross boarders may have many challenges. Most of these are possible to solve very easily. In this report Hussam will show a blueprint for how to set up and run successful distributed teams. In addition, he will also include the main challenges you may face and what are the best ways to deal with these.
Hussam is the managing director of StormGeo UAB. StormGeo delivers weather related advanced analytics and decision support services in many industries including Shipping, Oil &amp; Gas and renewables. Hussam has over 20 years’ experience from the Norwegian IT industry. During his carrier he has built several cross boarders IT companies in both Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania and Norway. Hussam describes himself as a result-oriented person who is acting like a conductor while orchestrating teams, getting people to work together toward common goals and escalating value creation. Hussam has also helped organizations step into the Lean and Agile world.
