Description

NUS’s Green Impact team has created this programme to ensure we are constantly supporting people delivering our programmes. Whether it’s by providing learning and development opportunities, fostering a peer-support network, or sharing good practice, we’re delighted to launch a monthly schedule of events you can access from the comfort of your desk.

Cost: Free – included as part of your Green Impact fee.

Suitable for: Anyone leading on Green Impact in a students’ union, university, college or off-campus organisation.

What will we cover?

The support calls are very much a networking opportunity for you to share your experiences in an informal way through the year, with others across the country running similar programmes. This helps develop and nurture the Green Impact community and enables peer-to-peer support, trouble shooting and sharing of good practice and innovation. Members of the NUS sustainability team will be on hand to facilitate and answer any questions or queries that arise. Their focus is on the functional elements of delivering a Green Impact programme.

In this call, we'll share good practice, collectively trouble-shoot challenges and review NUS’ recommended methodologies for successfully communicating the impact of your sustainability work.

How does it work?

For the support calls, we will be using telephone conference call so all you need is a phone line. You will be sent the call details the week before the call as depending on interest, we may run multiple calls simultaneously.
