Green Drinks DC is a monthly social series for environmentally-minded professionals, students, and enthusiasts in the nation’s capital.We have a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and business. So come along and you’ll be made welcome. It’s a great way of catching up with people you know, making new contacts, and building a network. Have you ever skipped a cool event because you didn’t have anyone to go with? 
Does striking up a conversation with a stranger feel daunting? 
Social anxiety can hold us back from making new friends, advancing professionally, and living our best life. It’s something everyone experiences from time to time, but with a handful of tools at your disposal, you can conquer it.
Over the last 10 years, Green Drink DC co-founder Spencer Schecht has come a long way on his own journey toward overcoming social anxiety. In this workshop, Spencer offers an arsenal of strategies for thriving in all kinds of social situations. From crafting the perfect elevator pitch to identifying character assets that make you awesome, Spencer helps participants build confidence and treat social situations as an opportunity for growth.
In this workshop, we will:

Your ticket also includes an optional 20-minute one-on-one session with Spencer after the training to follow up on your personal obstacles and tailor your path forward.
