Green Dot teaches bystander intervention to prevent violence, empowering communities to create safer, proactive environments.

Description: The Green Dot curriculum is a bystander intervention strategy designed to reduce power-based violence. It empowers participants to recognize potential acts of violence and equips them with tools and confidence to intervene safely and effectively. The training focuses on building a proactive community culture where everyone plays a role in creating a safer environment.


Objectives:

  • Understand the principles of the Green Dot strategy
  • Recognize signs of potential violence and harmful behaviors
  • Learn and practice intervention techniques
  • Foster a community-wide commitment to violence prevention
