Great Eastern Run for Light Project Peterborough
Join Light Project Peterborough and take on the 5km Fun Run or Half Marathon course through the city of Peterborough.
The Great Eastern Run provides a super flat and fast route around the streets of Peterborough City Centre.
Our aim is to beat last year's fundraising amount of £11,000 so the target is £15,000.

Run for Light Project Peterborough
Every pound that you raise will go towards helping those who are in desperate need in Peterborough. We aim to be a truly city-focused, city-change charity by providing projects such as Street Chaplaincy, a Health Outreach Bus, Emergency Night Shelters, and Peer Advocacy.
Our biggest project though, is The Garden House which opened in October 2018 and is Peterborough’s homeless health hub. Between April 2024 and March 2025, 1,039 people were supported. During this same period, we helped 596 people to move away from the streets and into accommodation.
