Interested in Grazing Cover Crops? Learn from the pros at the Grazing Field Day. The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in partnership with the University of Maryland Extension will host an afternoon event at the Western Maryland Research and Education Center in Washington County, Maryland discussing grazing cover crop strategies that are being used to advance soil health and herd health. Cover crops are an integral piece in improving soil health outcomes by armoring the soil, maintaining a living root, and adding forage diversity for livestock operations. Learn how to use cover crops in their grazing management practices to improve soil and their bottom line!

This event is FREE. This on-farm tour may have uneven walking terrain.
