About this event

  • 2 hours

Ride along with bicycle enthusiast Don Mobley to learn about the history of Grayslake neighborhoods. The ride will be 10.8 miles long, weaving through some of the beautiful and often unseen parts of Grayslake, as well as a good stretch of Rollins Savanna. There will be frequent stops to discuss the history of a neighborhood, and water will be provided. Back by popular demand: this will be the same route taken last year during our first Grayslake History Bike Hike. The Grayslake History Bike Hike is free, but limited spots are available. Historical information is provided by the Grayslake Historical Society and Grayslake Heritage Center. Ride will begin at the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum at 6 PM.
