Medium is an online publishing platform where words matter. Our mission is to deepen readers' understanding of the world and to empower writers to share their best work and biggest ideas.

Medium has been working with GraphQL for over a year now! We've built out our GraphQL server on top of our existing backend in such a way that, with the help of Protocol Buffers, we have been able to make progress migrating to React.js and a service oriented architecture without hindering product development!
Come hear the Medium team talk about our approach to migration, things we've learned, and new things in the works on our GraphQL journey.

Mission Bit is a non-profit who is helping eliminate the tech divide for youth living in urban poverty and rural areas across the San Francisco Bay Area.
