About this event

At CDL Graphics, we specialize in designing graphics and visuals to enhance online course content that assist faculty in their teaching efforts. Our team members boast a combined thirty years of experience and hold various degrees in the visual arts.

Throughout the year, we invite you to explore our services and discover the various types of graphics we can create to elevate your online course. Join us to learn more about our services and see how we can help you take your online course to the next level.

Utilizing graphics in your course curriculum can offer several advantages, such as:

  • Engagement: Graphics can help to keep students engaged and interested in the material, as it provides a break from traditional text-based learning and can help to make the material more interactive and dynamic.
  • Understanding: Using Graphics can help to clarify and illustrate complex concepts, making them easier for students to understand.
  • Accessibility: Graphics can make the material more accessible to students with different learning styles and preferences. For example, some students may prefer to see a visual representation rather than read a text-based explanation.
  • Retention: Research has shown that visual imagery can help to improve retention of material, as it engages multiple senses and allows students to experience the material in a more immersive way.

Overall, using graphics in a course can help to make the material more engaging, understandable, and accessible to students, which can ultimately lead to better learning outcomes.

These sessions are available to UCF Faculty who are credentialed to teach online.
