Megan Rudden performs at mote as part of her current exhibition Granton Séance.Both are part of <a href="https://www.leithlate.co.uk/whats-on" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">LeithLate 2023</a>. Doors open at 6pm with Megan&#x27;s performance running from 6.30 to 7pm. There will be an opportunity to mingle and chat to the artist afterwards. Follow on to LeithLate&#x27;s opening night <a href="https://www.leithlate.co.uk/whats-on" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Arty Party at the Biscuit Factory,</a> 5 minutes walk south of the shop—doors open 7pm, tickets £5 and featuring music, performance, food trucks and good vibes. Megan Rudden, an artist born in Leith, now living in Glasgow and commuting to Edinburgh College as artist in residence, travels through her family landscape, stopping in her tracks, picking up messages.&quot;I have spent the last five months as artist in residence in a college built on top of my great gran’s house. I gave a power point presentation in her kitchen and held workshops on her front porch.&quot;Shaping sculpture, words, installation, Megan, and her family&#x27;s presence, occupies the shop for 2 weeks.Both exhibition and performance are part of this year&#x27;s LeithLate programme.Megan&#x27;s work for this exhibition is supported by Creative Scotland.
