<p>In this workshop you&#x27;ll learn about fundraising, some things to keep in mind when starting an organization, and you&#x27;ll get an overview about grant writing and what to keep in mind if you&#x27;re interested in creating a nonprofit organization.</p><p>This workshop will be lead by Karin Romans, the Executive Director of Friends of New York City Nurse Family Partnership, a nonprofit dedicated to helping first-time, low-income moms. Karin has spent more than 16 years in fundraising, helping organizations carry out their important mission, including at the Zahn Center. She has worked a variety of fields, from women’s health to social justice to education. </p>
