Description

Grant Writing 101 is an in-person training that gives a general overview of the grant writing process and allows writers to go through a step-by-step process to create a grant application. Participants will receive a copy of a previously funded grant proposal and will learn about each required element of the grant including: the executive summary, statement of need, project description, budget, organization information and conclusion. The class is designed to help nonprofit organizations that rely on outside funding to pay for operations and costs.

This training is especially appropriate for new fatherhood programs that are interested in applying for grants. We will help demystify the grant writing process by taking you through a previously funded grant application, step-by-step. No previous experience in grant writing is necessary. This is a hands-on training where you can get your questions answered.
