What Organizations Will Gain

By the end of the lab, participating organizations will:

  • Leave with a draft project plan framework they can adapt for future grant applications
  • Gain a clearer understanding of funder expectations and decision-making
  • Strengthen internal clarity around project intent, scope, and readiness
  • Learn alongside peers navigating similar organizational challenges

Who This Lab Is For

  • Non-profit and charitable organizations
  • Social enterprises
  • Impact-driven organizations (non-profit or for-profit)

Organizations should register 1–2 representatives who are directly involved in project planning or funding applications.

Registration

Participation is confirmed through a short application process.

Registration is organization-based, not individual. Each organization must identify the representative(s) who will attend both mornings.

This is a focused cohort of 7 organizations, intentionally small to ensure close support, meaningful engagement, and hands-on work.

If demand exceeds capacity, a waitlist will be maintained and used to inform future sessions.

Confirmed organizations will be notified by email.

Application Questions

Please be prepared to provide:

  • Organization name
  • Name and role of participant(s) (1–2 people)
  • A brief description of the project you would like to develop during the lab
  • Why this project is important for your organization at this stage
  • When do you expect to implement this project?

Expectations

  • The same participants are expected to attend both mornings
  • Participants should come prepared to actively work on a real project
  • If an organization can no longer attend after confirmation, timely notice is expected so the space can be offered to another group
