Session 1 - Grant Writing 101 (1-2:30 p.m.) Learn foundational grant writing techniques and best practices. This interactive workshop will walk participants through some grant writing basics and best practices to help build a better understanding of various stages of the grant writing process.

Break (2:30-3 p.m.)

Session 2 - Proactive Planning: Forecasting for Success(3-4:30 p.m.) Anticipate challenges and create long-term success plans. This session focuses on strategic planning and forecasting to anticipate and address potential challenges in equity work. It offers methods for setting realistic goals, creating actionable plans, and ensuring long-term success.

Parking: Park in the lot across from TGI Fridays and enter the building (formerly Target). Proceed past security to the first doors on the right to enter the Carefirst Engagement Center.
