About this event

This class is taught by one of our Family Birthplace Registered Nurses who will discuss the special contribution grandparents make in the lives of their grandchildren. Topics that will be discussed include:

How things have changed since their own children were born
Information on childbirth
Baby care
Breastfeeding
Baby safety

There will be a session for questions and answers at the end of the webinar where grandparents are encouraged to share their stories and concerns. We will also discuss ways you can help remain supportive in your new role.

Grandparents are encouraged to attend the Infant Safety & CPR class as well.

The email with the link will be sent out two days before the webinar to the email address you registered with. We will send out a second email thirty minutes before the webinar in case you missed the first one. Please remember to check your spam.

There will be a Q&A session at the conclusion of the webinar.

All of the rooms in the Memorial Hospital West Family Birthplace are private. They all have either a hospital bed with a sleeper sofa or a recliner chair for your partner. All have private bathrooms—some with tubs with jets, some with showers. The rooms have free television and Wi-Fi access.
