About this event
We are pleased to invite you to the grand opening of our new showroom in Oslo. We celebrate the event with a party Thursday 19 May from 5 pm – 11 pm, featuring delicious food, cold beer and bubbles, and funky music by DJ Sebastian Emes.
Future trends & attractive prizes
The event also features an inspirational design talk by Creative Director at Gabriel, Cenk Kivrikoglu from 6 pm – 6.30 pm as well as an exciting prize draw. Join the party to learn more about future trends and to have the opportunity of winning ReForm A New Wave carpets from Ege Carpets in your favourite colour and design (max size 400 x 300 cm), coffee table design books, or the iconic Series 7 chair by Arne Jacobsen upholstered with Gabriel fabrics of your choice.
Explore the TRUE NATURE exhibition
The showroom opening also marks the launch of the TRUE NATURE exhibition – the first in a series. The exhibition brings together fabrics and carpets, natural elements, art pieces, and innovations from other brands in an inspiring, museum-like setting to challenge and encourage visitors to explore new ideas, designs, and materials – and not least to bring the essence of Scandinavian nature into physical spaces. The exhibition is curated by Danish future analyst Rikke Skytte who specialises in design, architecture, and human behaviour.
Gabriel & Ege Carpets – a perfect fit
The new showroom brings together Gabriel’s exclusive range of furniture fabrics and Ege Carpets extensive flooring portfolio, highlighting the two companies’ deep roots in the Scandinavian design heritage and shared, long-lasting passion for craftsmanship, quality, and sustainability.
A one-stop design experience
The showroom collab offers architects, interior designers, and furniture specialists a complete and highly inspirational one-stop-shop interior design experience. By fusing high-quality fabrics, carpet design, and decades of interior design expertise, Gabriel and Ege Carpets aim to ease the development and specification processes for the architect, furniture, and design communities.
