As part of our Juneteenth Speaker Series, join Graduate Council and International House for a fireside chat with Valerie Jarrett on incorporating diversity and inclusion within the work and leaning space. The event will take the form of a student-moderated conversation to highlight the importance of dismantling structural and cultural barriers that exist in the workspace to truly create an equitable environment. All registered attendees are welcomed to attend a post-discussion reception. Refreshments will be provided.
Event format:
5:00-6:00 - Moderated conversation with Valerie Jarrett (in-person moderator, Valerie Jarrett will join virtually)
6:00-6:30 - Reception
Please note that the main entrance to International House is currently for residents only. Attendees should use the door on South Dorchester Ave to enter.
