Description

The Global Perspectives Programme 2016 (GPP 2016) is an international exchange program between the University of Basel, Switzerland, and Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA. The GPP caters to doctoral students and postdoc researchers of all fields with a pronounced interest in increasing knowledge in this field and in contributing to further strengthening an already far reaching network of research peers.

This year, GPP participants will be holding a panel discussion to summarize the program's findings at the Embassy of Switzerland on 17th of June, 2016. This year's topic is: (1) Relevance of learning and teaching; (2) HEIs as strong regional innovators; (3) Mutually reinforcing education and research activities. It will be the 7th time in a row that GPP participants shared insights of their common weeks and work with a selected audience coming from Embassies, Higher Education Institutions and Funding Agencies.
