Saturday, April 14  ¡GOOOOAL!
Are you ready for some fútbol? Things are heating up on April 14! ¡GOOOOAL! takes us south of the border with José Pablo Monyao’s Mexican anthem Huapango, Silvestre Revueltas’ Redes and American Aaron Copland’s lively El Salón México. From there, we kick around in Spain with music from Three-Cornered Hat by Manuel de Falla. We return to Latin America for “Ária” from Heitor Villa-Lobos’ Bachianas brasileiras fifth suite, and we tango into Buenos Aires with Astor Piazzolla’s romantic Oblivion. In the countryside, we celebrate Argentine folk music and dancing with Four Dances from Alberto Ginastera’s ballet, Estancia. Mexico City-based José Luis Castillo guest conducts.

About two hours, including a 20 minute intermission.

<H4>Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?</H4>
We scan tickets at the door. We strongly encourage bringing one of the following:

<LI>Your printed ticket(s) (remember it’s an attachment to the email confirmation you receive)</LI>
<LI>Your ticket(s) on your portable electronic device (cell phone, tablet, etc.)</LI>
<LI>Your ticket(s) barcode on the Eventbrite app (try it, it’s pretty nifty!)</LI>

If you forget your ticket, no problem! We can look you up by name.
<H4>Is my ticket transferrable?</H4>
If you are unable to attend this concert, we’re happy to exchange your tickets for a future 2017–2018 concert as long as it is not sold out. Just email us at <A HREF="mailto:info@denverphilharmonic.org" TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">info@denverphilharmonic.org</A>, and we’ll email you the exchange tickets.
