Imagine floating in an ocean of sound, where you can let go of all your stress and worries. Gongs, Singing Bowls, Bells, and other instruments ring out, creating waves of vibrations that wash over you. Your mind, body, and energy systems are able to realign and recharge, helping to clear out blockages, while leaving you refreshed and reawakened. In our over stressed world, these primordial sounds can help us reach a space of profound calm and healing within ourselves. In fact, neuroscientific studies now tell us that tell us that sound vibrations exert a profound “massaging effect” on our brain’s neural networks, facilitating significant shifts both in our physical and emotional selves. 
With a sense of both history and mystery, Michael Bettine’s “Gongtopia” concert brings these ancient sounds to modern times. Michael puts this repertoire of instruments into a historical and cultural context; and then leads you through a 60 minute experience that most all agree is visceral!
Michael is known both nationally and internationally as one of the leading artists in his field and brings this unique and powerfully healing experience to a range of audiences and settings.. from the military and hospitals to everyday folks who want to experience the powerful impact of these sounds.
Join us for this very special event. Bring your yoga mat (and pillow if you like).
Event will be held in the Community House's Historic Garden (Room 111 in the event of inclement weather).
