Golf "Fore" Paws

On April 2, 2012, a group of seasoned rescuers united, in memory of an animal lover, Justin Bartlett, who tragically lost his life at a young age, and formed the Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue.Through the  knowledge base of these rescuers, their long volunteer “hands-on” hours, common sense and research driven processes, together they built the largest foster based rescue in the county, saving an average of a thousand animals each year, established a fleet of two adoption shuttles and a mobile unit, as well as launched them the county's first rescue magazine, "Rescue Tales."  Though time consuming and exhausting, there was still more work to be done.Due to the dire need for low cost veterinary care in the community, on May 28, 2015, the Justin Bartlett Animal Hospital was founded! To date, the hospital has served over 28,000 patients, and performed over 8,000 spay/neuter surgeries, some on our mobile surgical unit, within specific economically disadvantaged areas, at no cost to the public.Our Mission...Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue’s mission is to reduce the number of homeless dogs and cats from becoming victim to shelter euthanasia, while educating the public on the importance of adoption and spay and neuter in our community.  Our volunteer staff is dedicated to saving pregnant and nursing animals, as well as, orphaned puppies/kittens, homeless adult pets, and any unwanted animal, whether sick or healthy, black or spotted. If there is an open foster home and available funds we will ensure the animal receives its forever home. Every animal we rescue is placed in a foster home, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested, and provided any other necessary medical care. Once the animal is ready for adoption, they will remain in our foster program until a perfect match, between the animal and a new family is made.

The Golf Fore Paws is our largest signature event. On its ninth year it raises much needed funds to care for injured animals in our foster program. In addition, it also contributes to our "Angel Fund" which provides assistance to animal owners that can't afford to pay for the care of their critically sick pet.
Each round of golf includes; buffet style lunch, beer, snacks, and dinner.  Additional dinners can be purchased separately for non golfers and/or a guest. 
Other options during the tournament include; bazooka game, raffle and auction.
