Here you learn the most important water safety tips, connect with our friends at i9 Sports, Once Upon a Child, Urbandale Police & Fire Departments, Safe Kids Des Moines, and enjoy an open swim! You'll have the opportunity to take the Safer Swimmer Pledge, win giveaways, and have LOTS of fun!
Disclaimers: Parents/Caregivers are required to stay for the duration of this event, life jackets must be worn for participants that can’t swim independently. Any students who require a lifejacket must have a parent/guardian present in the water. Families should bring their towels for this event. Note that little ones who are not potty trained must wear a reusable swim diaper (These are available for purchase in the facility).
