Golden Gate Karaoke is a social, team-based competitive karaoke league. It’s team-based, meaning you perform with friends and cheer each other on. It’s social because you get to meet a community of other like-minded, supportive singers. And the competition? Each week everyone in the venue votes for their favorite performances using their phone on our app at voteggk.com. All levels of singers are welcome. Trust us, winning in our karaoke leagues is not only about being the best singer. It’s about having fun, picking a great song, being creative and singing your heart out!

League Basics: Each season six teams compete over eight weeks (six regular season and two playoffs weeks) to earn the title of karaoke champions! Each week (except designated bye weeks) teams meet at the same time and same league venue and compete over three rounds. The first and second rounds consist of solo, duet or trio performances, and the third round is for group performances. But wait there's more! Teams will also have to select their songs each week based around fun themes given by the League Manager.

Teams: Throughout the season, you’ll perform on the same team. A team consists of 8 performers. Already have your team together? Awesome! Your team captain can send your roster to the League Manager (singit@goldengatekaraoke.com) and they will make sure to group all of you together on one team. No team yet? Great! You can sign up as a free agent, and we’ll find a team for you. Before the season begins, you’ll receive information about your team and how to connect with your teammates.

**TEAM CAPTAINS PLEASE READ** Since league spots are limited, CREATING A TEAM DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU 8 SPOTS. Teams are filled first come, first serve until all available spots are taken. Teams that are not filled by the registration deadline date listed above may 1) have Free Agents added to their roster or 2) may be merged with another team in the league.

Referral Program: We are excited to introduce our new referral program where you get $10 off your registration for each first-time performer who signs up from your referral. Refer a full team of first-time performers and your season is free! (During registration it will ask for the name of the person who referred you. Once the season starts we will refund performers for any referral discounts they have been credited with. Discount only credited if the person you've referred is a first-time league registrant and they have provided your name in their registration form.)
