"Godspell" is coming to the Emerald Coast in June!

Destin School of the Arts is thrilled to present their summer stage production of the musical, GODSPELL, on June 24 and 25th at 8pm!Based on the Gospel according to Matthew, Godspell is the first musical theatre offering from composer Stephen Schwartz - who went on to write such well-known Broadway hits as Wicked, Pippin, and Children of Eden. The show features a side-splitting comedic troupe of eccentric, diverse players who team up with Jesus to teach his lessons in a new age through music, dancing, parables, and hilarious tomfoolery!Godspell also features the international hit, “Day by Day”, as well as an eclectic blend of songs ranging from pop to vaudeville, as Jesus’ life is played out onstage. Even after the haunting crucifixion, Jesus’ message of kindness, tolerance and love lives vibrantly on.Godspell Performance Dates: June 24, 2022 - June 25, 2022Production Directed by: Keri KlausMusic Direction: Chris KlausPerformance is free to attend, with a suggested donation of $`15/person.
