God Only Knows!

MyRaynesPark Festival is a community arts festival for the residents of SW20. We've now been running for seven years and have brought comedy, art, music, drama, poetry and family fun to our local town!Organised by Raynes Park Community Church (the Salvation Army) and with support from other local groups we are a non-profit making organisation.Our core values are;1. Celebration - every year we have some kind of party!2. Inclusivity – we organise a wide variety of events to meet different interests in the community and over 90% of our events are free.3. Creativity – as well as talented professionals performing there are plenty of opportunities for local residents to get involved.4. Community - we seek to bring the community together and promote local groups that run throughout the year to a wider network.5. Justice - we promote social justice issues, including; Refugee Week and anti-trafficking in the borough of Merton.

Comedy chat show 'God Only Knows' invites its guests to step beyond this life and ask three questions to God (whoever, or whatever, he, she or it may be to them).Set at the edge of eternity, our guests step out of our elevator to find out how they've died and then get the chance to submit their three questions. Everything from would I have been happier if...? to why do men have nipples? These questions open the door to chat that is enlightening, personal and funny.Hosted by Matt White and produced by the award-winning Dot Dot Dot, it’s a space for conversation about life, philosophy, faith, spirituality, religion or anything else that comes up along the way.Francesca Martinez is a comedian, writer, actress and campaigner. She has performed on Live at the Apollo and in 2019 went viral after her appearance on Question Time.British Sikh Daman Bamrah is one of the most exciting new comic voices to emerge from the London circuit.This event is hosted by MyRaynesPark Festival &amp; the Lantern Arts Centre.
