About this event

Come connect with nature and baby Nigerian dwarf goats! Our one-hour goat yoga class is taught by a certified yoga instructor and offers a deeply rewarding, light-hearted and unique experience. The instructor will take you through a sequence of poses, while adorable baby goats jump, prance, play and kiss all over you. This class is suitable for all levels; from first timers to advanced yogis. Bring your love for animals, sense of humor and exercise clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Class is 45 minutes, with 15 minutes of free time to play, feed and take pictures with the goats.

Be sure to register for a spot, as we have limited spaces available and cannot guarantee admittance at the gate.

Frequently asked questions

What happens in case of inclement weather?

Our classes are held in a covered barn and are not affected by rain. In the event of a torrential storm that affects power outages or hazardous conditions, we will notify you to reschedule.

Can Kids come to Goat Yoga?

Kids need to be 10 years or older, and accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend.

Are there Refunds?

Due to the limited class capacity, we do not issue refunds. Only if a class is cancelled will we issue a refund. We do, however allow for one time reschedule or we can issue a gift card for future use.

Do I have to participate in the yoga portion of the class?

No. Some people just sit and snuggle goats.

Do the goats poop all over you?

Goats have small and hard pellets and from time to time they will poop on your mat and may poop on you. Unlike carnivorous animals, goats only eat vegetation so it's not messy or stinky. We do provide mats for this reason, and if your mat gets soiled, our staff will replace it.

Do the goats bite?

No. None of our goats are aggressive in anyway. All of our goats have been bottle raised and are extremely social, They will nibble on your hair, clothes and fingers. We ask that you do not put your fingers in their mouths, as they have sharp molars in the back of their mouths.

Is this a form of animal assisted therapy?

Absolutely! The focus of the class is the combination of nature, goats and yoga to create a therapeutic and happy distraction from whatever you may be going through in life. It is a way to disconnect from the day to day stress, and be present in the joyful moment.

Are dogs allowed on the property?

No dogs or outside pets allowed. Our animals are prey animals and even well behaved dogs will scare them.
