Get out and get active with the 50+ community at North Potomac Community Recreation Center for a FREE Signature Active Aging Week event.

Montgomery County is excited to celebrate International Active Aging Week (AAW) from September 30-October 6, 2024.


On Monday, September 30th, get out and get active with the 50+ community at the North Potomac Community Recreation Center for a FREE signature Active Aging Week event. Participate in activities that will boost your physical and mental wellness through creative expression, exercise, and socialization. The event offers a mix of fitness, wellness, and creative activities, alongside informative sessions. Fitness and wellness options include various demos, health screenings, and recreational sports. Creative and educational opportunities feature art workshops, historical presentations, and a chance to socialize providing a well-rounded experience for all attendees. FREE to attend but advanced registration is required. Lunch will be provided through the Senior Nutrition Program. You must select if you would like a hot, cold or vegetarian meal when you register.
