About this event

Calling all 3rd-6th graders!!!

Explore the mysteries of space with us as we take spacewalks in virtual reality, build working robots, plan a lunar colony, launch rockets, explore the surface of Mars, make out-of-this-world astronaut ice cream, and collaborate as a crew to complete challenging space missions. In partnership with NASA, GNO STEM and Central Creativity are bringing Astro Camp® to our area! The goal of Astro Camp® is to give ALL students the chance to get involved in and experience Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to inspire future astronauts and engineers to learn about space with NASA activities.

All GNO STEM camps are led by certified teachers and supported by GNO STEM staff and counselors. Our counselors are robotics team members from various local high schools. In addition, 'Lunch and Learn' guests are brought to camp during the week. These guests include various STEM industry partners bringing their expertise to life during a STEM presentation and hands-on activity. GNO STEM strives to introduce students to exciting hands-on activities and relevant industry professionals to broaden their learning experience as it pertains to STEM education and possibilities.
