Calling all 3rd-6th Graders!!!!

Campers will engage in projects that introduce and explore the six simple machines, including the inclined plane, the lever, the pulley, the screw, the wedge, and the wheel and axle.

Hands-on activities will highlight specific types of simple machines, allowing students to truly understand how these machines are used in everyday products and devices in our daily lives.

The Competition is on!!!! At the end of the camp week, campers will be challenged to put what they've learned to use by designing their own machine that employs all six types of simple machines.

All GNO STEM camps are led by certified teachers and supported by GNO STEM staff and counselors. Our counselors are robotics team members from various local high schools. In addition, 'Lunch and Learn' guests are brought to camp during the week. These guests include various STEM industry partners bringing their expertise to life during a STEM presentation and hands-on activity. GNO STEM strives to introduce students to exciting hands-on activities and relevant industry professionals to broaden their learning experience as it pertains to STEM education and possibilities
