GNCS Easter Egg Hunt

The Glenview New Church School is hosting great events to show off our spectactular school and grounds.  GNCS is situated on the New Church's 26 acres of land.  The school boasts a school garden, 7,000 square foot gymnasium, multiple play grounds, a picturesque pond, and classrooms with plenty of natural light.  Check out our school at www.glenviewnewchurchschool.org

Glenview New Church School

There are two different Easter Egg Hunts this year at GNCS.  Please buy the correct tickets below.  Tickets must only be purchased for children attending.   This event is open to the greater Glenview community.  We offer a discounted price to church and school families when tickets are purchased in advance.  Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for church and school families if bought in advance.

<LI>9 am Toddling Tots Easter Egg Hunt: For 1 - 4 years old.  This early egg hunt is done with EMPTY EGGS to avoid any choking hazzards, and each child can turn in his or her LOT of collected eggs for ONE single toy.  Over 1,000 eggs are hidden on a 3 acre field.   </LI>
<LI>10:30 am Traditional Easter Egg Hunt.  For 1 - 14 years old.  ALL eggs with contain candy.  Over 8,000 eggs are hidden on 15 acres of the school's campus (the inside circle). </LI>

AT the 9 am Toddling Tots Easter Egg Hunt:

<LI>Children aged 1 - 4 years old are welcome to attend.  </LI>
<LI>This early egg hunt is done with EMPTY EGGS to avoid any choking hazzards, and each child can turn in his or her LOT of collected eggs for ONE single toy. </LI>
<LI>This event will be held in our large ball field at the end of Gladish Lane.  The field is across the street from 74 Park Drive, next to the large play ground.  </LI>
<LI>This event was created to meet the needs of our younger hunters in training, to make it less overwhelming and enjoyable for parents and young ones.  </LI>
<LI>Kids ages 1 - 4 are not required to come to this hunt, they can opt into the 10:30 am hunt - but please purchase the correct ticket.  </LI>

AT the 10:30 am Traditional Easter Egg Hunt:
<UL>
<LI>1-14 year olds are welcome to hunt for easter eggs on the entire campus.  ALL easter eggs will contain candy.  (If you would like an egg hunt specifically for 1 - 4 year olds without candy, please attend the 9 am hunt)</LI>
<LI>Grand Prize Golden eggs are hidden along with the rest of the eggs that can be turned in for prizes at the traditional Easter Egg hunt. </LI>
<LI>A raffle well be held. A magician will give a show!  Snacks will be included!    </LI>
</UL>
The $10 Ticket price includes: 
·      An easter egg hunt bag
·      A snack and juice box
·      A raffle ticket (for the 10:30 am traditional hunt)
·      An Easter egg hunt!
This event draws hundreds of families, and we ask parents and children to abide by certain rules so all children can enjoy this delightful holiday event.   
·      Easter egg bags are provided, baskets and personalized bags should be left at home. 
·      No early bird egg hunters, anyone picking up eggs before the start of the hunt will be asked to leave.
·      If tickets sell out, which is common, each child will be asked to pick up no more than 15 eggs.
·      Golden eggs that are found are turned in at the end of the hunt for the grand cash prize (10:30 am traditional hunt only)
All attendees should come prepared for potentially wet grass and soft earth (wear rain boots)
