GNCS Easter Egg Hunt 2023

The Glenview New Church School is hosting great events to show off our spectactular school and grounds.  GNCS is situated on the New Church's 26 acres of land.  The school boasts a school garden, 7,000 square foot gymnasium, multiple play grounds, a picturesque pond, and classrooms with plenty of natural light.  Check out our school at www.glenviewnewchurchschool.org

GNCS hosts two different Easter Egg Hunt times.  Please buy the correct tickets below.  Tickets only need to be purchased for children attending - adults are free.   This event is a community-wide event.  We offer a discounted price to church and school families when tickets are purchased in advance.  There will be an Easter Bunny at both events! YOU MAY BRING YOUR OWN EASTER BASKETS. We will also have hunting bags on hand if you choose not to bring your own baskets. All eggs will be empty and can be turned in for a toy (Tots) or an Easter goody bag (Open).<ol><li>9 am Toddling Tots Easter Egg Hunt: For 1 - 4 years old. This event was created to meet the needs of our younger hunters in training, to make it less overwhelming and enjoyable for parents and young ones. Over 1,000 eggs are hidden across a large field. Each child can turn in his or her lot of collected eggs for ONE single toy. Children 1-4 yrs. may opt into the 10:30 am Open hunt if desired - but please purchase the correct ticket. </li><li>10:30 am Open Easter Egg Hunt:  For 1 - 14 years old.  ALL eggs will be empty.  Turn in your lot of eggs for a goody bag containing candy and treats! Over 8,000 eggs are hidden on 15 acres of the school&#x27;s campus (the inside circle). 10 Grand Prize Golden Eggs will be hidden along with the rest of the eggs and can be turned in for large prizes.</li></ol>Please arrive early to get checked in!Details for 9 am Toddling Tots Easter Egg Hunt:  <ul><li>Children aged 1 - 4 years old are welcome to attend. </li><li>This event will be held in our field directly in front of the Park Drive Entrance.   Parking is in the School parking lot.</li><li>The Easter Bunny will be hopping in for photo opportunities!</li><li>Snacks are included. One juice and one snack per ticketed child, please.</li><li>Each child can turn in his or her lot of collected empty eggs for ONE single toy. </li></ul>Details for 10:30 am Open Easter Egg Hunt:<ul><li>1-14-year-olds are welcome to hunt for easter eggs on the entire campus (inner circle).</li><li>ALL eggs will be empty.  Turn in your lot of empty eggs for a goody bag containing candy and treats!  (If you would like an egg hunt specifically for 1 - 4 year-olds, please see the 9 am hunt)</li><li>10 Grand Prize Golden Eggs are hidden along with the rest of the eggs. The Golden Eggs can be turned in for large prizes at the Open Easter Egg hunt only. </li><li>The Easter Bunny will be hopping in for photo opportunities!</li><li> Special entertainment after the hunt (approximately 11:00am)!</li><li>Snacks are included. One juice and one snack per ticketed child, please.</li></ul>This event draws hundreds of families, and we ask parents and children to abide by certain rules so all children can enjoy this delightful holiday event.   ·      No early bird egg hunters, anyone picking up eggs before the start of the hunt will be asked to leave.·      Golden Eggs that are found are turned in at the end of the hunt for one of ten Grand Prizes (10:30 am Open hunt only).- Please give space to others around you.- This event is completely outdoors. Please plan ahead.All attendees should come prepared for potentially wet grass and soft earth (wear rain boots). This event will go on, rain or shine.
