About this event

This training is designed for Georgetown staff & faculty at all levels to better engage with the Georgetown Management System (GMS). Participants will gain an overall understanding of how GMS is organized, how to navigate a variety of functions within the system (managing and delegating the GMS inbox, time off management, editing personal information, etc), and where to find important documentation (pay slips, W2s, etc).

They will learn about specific business processes (submitting paid time-off requests, setting performance goals, etc) and who is notified at each step in the process. Participants will also learn key HR policies that inform GMS practices and what GMS business processes to expect throughout a typical annual cycle.

This training is ideal for:

  • New Employees
  • Employees who are new to using GMS
  • Employees looking for a GMS refresher
