Code And Compete For Connected Device Security

We are excited to extend an invitation to you for the upcoming GlobalPlatform TEE Hackathon! Attendees will be trained in using TEE to develop secure applications on connected devices.

Trusted execution environments (TEEs) are used in a wide range of connected devices to protect sensitive applications and data from threats posed by hackers and malware. GlobalPlatform, and its hackathon sponsors Samsung and Sequitur Labs are challenging developers to create innovative and trusted applications, using TEE technology.

Sequitur Labs will provide:

Raspberry Pi devices for each team to take home
Bus Blaster
A full software development environment with OP-TEE along with the staffing to support this contribution

Bring your applications, your team and your ideas to learn, code and compete for cash prizes!

TEEs are already becoming the preferred standard in connected devices supporting secure biometric authentication and constant security. What other application challenges could you solve with TEE standards? This is your chance toengage with today’s most talked about device security technologies.

The top three teams will present their applications to a 200 member delegation of the connected device industry’s key stakeholders like Visa, Ericsson and ARM, as well as TEE experts, solution developers, software vendors, device manufacturers and mobile network operators from around the world! This showcase will happen at GlobalPlatform’s 4th Annual TEE Conference in October, where the Grand Prize winner will also be announced! As an added bonus, all Hackathon attendees will also be given complimentary passes to this conference taking place October 13th in Santa Clara.
